A Night of Elegance and Excellence!

The Mu Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. proudly hosted its 23rd Biennial Debutante Cotillion, where eight remarkable young ladies made their grand debut into society. This year’s theme, “Cultivating Pearls of Elegance,” set the stage for an unforgettable evening filled with grace, poise, and celebration. Congratulations to our 2024 AKA Debutante Queen, Miss Nyla Grate, and her royal court: First Runner-up: Miss Arvionne Hemingway, Second Runner-up: Miss Nyla Linnen and Third Runner-up: Miss Ava Britton.

The dazzling event was hosted by Shelbey Roberts, our very own Sorority Sister and Live 5 News anchor. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is dedicated to "Service to All Mankind", and for 44 years, the Mu Phi Omega Chapter has been making an impact right here in Georgetown County.
